This policy explains what personal information Travel Life collects when you use travellifemag.co.uk, how we use it and the choices you have.
Who we are
Travel Life is published by Good Life Publishing, a trading name of Magbox Publishing Ltd. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us at hello@goodlifepublishing.co.uk.
When you contact us
If you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use this only to reply to you and deal with your enquiry. The form uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam, which means Google receives some technical information about your visit.
Advertisers and contributors
If you advertise with us, contribute to the magazine or work with us in another way, we keep the contact and business details we need to do that work, send invoices and keep proper accounts.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which articles they read. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time. Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies we use.
Affiliate links
Some articles contain affiliate links. If you click one, the company you visit, or the affiliate network that manages the link, may set its own cookies so it can tell that you came from Travel Life. We don’t receive your name or payment details from them, only a report of commission earned. Those companies’ own privacy policies apply once you leave our site. Read more about our affiliate links.
Who we share information with
We don’t sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run the website and our business, such as our web host and email provider, and where the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your message and any follow-up, and business records for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to limit its use. To do any of these, email us at the address above. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. This version was last updated in November 2026.
