This will be the fifteenth restaurant across the UK for the Six by Nico, founded by chef Nico Simeone. Six by Nico is renowned for their ever-evolving, accessible and affordable six-course tasting menu that changes every six weeks, drawing inspiration from a memory, place or idea. They aim to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in their restaurants, where diners can enjoy the creativity of the dishes in this immersive dining experience, which takes guests on a journey through the menu changing every six weeks. The six-course menu is priced at £50 per person, with the option to enjoy an expertly selected wine pairing for an additional £30.
Six by Nico Oxford has a capacity for sixty-four covers in the main dining area with a private dining space for 12 guests, plus a terrace in a space boasting nearly 4,300 square feet overall, and fifty new jobs will be created. The interior concept is deeply rooted in the essence of the number six. Drawing inspiration from the graceful six-legged dragonfly, the visionary designers at Studio Two have meticulously crafted an interior that embodies the creature’s elegant form, colour and captivating natural habitat. As Six by Nico continues to develop the brand across multiple venues, the Oxford restaurant site will gain a harmonious design style in keeping with existing restaurants within the group whilst maintaining individuality.
The hugely popular restaurant has seen significant growth over the last few years with UK-wide expansion. Since opening in Finnieston in 2017, Six by Nico now has locations in 10 cities in the UK with 15 locations including two in London, two in Manchester and three in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Leeds and Cardiff.
Now, Six by Nico has turned its attention to the beautiful city of Oxford. Nico Simeone comments: “We are thrilled to bring the taste of Six by Nico to Oxford.
