Jennifer Hobbs-Roberts is a publisher, editor and lifestyle writer based in South Wales and is Group Managing Editor of the Life-style magazine series, which includes Travel Life, Vale Life, Oxford Life, City Life and West Life, along with a range of specialist publications, websites and book projects produced under the Good Life media brand.

As editor of Travel Life, the UK’s Premier Independent Travel Magazine, Jennifer oversees features covering hotels, destinations, food, luxury travel and independent hospitality, with a focus on well-written editorial, high-quality photography and genuine travel experiences. The magazine is read both in print and online across the UK and internationally, with readers in more than 160 countries.

Jennifer has worked in publishing, marketing, public relations and media for more than 45 years and has been involved in travel writing, hotel reviews and lifestyle journalism for much of that time. Earlier in her career she was involved in the marketing and promotion of hotels, restaurants and leisure businesses, including work connected with Michelin-star restaurants and high-end hospitality brands, experience that continues to influence her approach to travel and lifestyle publishing.

Together with her husband, Creative Director Mark Roberts, she founded a ‘Life’ magazine series in 2007, developing it into a growing group of lifestyle and travel titles along with a network of websites covering travel, fashion, interiors, food, health, wellbeing and modern living.

Alongside her editorial work, Jennifer regularly contributes to travel and lifestyle features and has visited and reviewed hotels, restaurants and destinations both in the UK and abroad. Her background in public relations and marketing within the hospitality sector gives her a strong understanding of the travel industry from both editorial and commercial perspectives.

She has also been featured in regional press and business publications as one of Wales’ most influential businesswomen and continues to work as a hands-on editor, combining day-to-day involvement in magazine production with the development of new publishing and media projects.
