If you’ve ever visited Barry island in the Vale of Glamorgan (Wales’ most southerly county), you’ll know that it is quite possible to lose some treasured possessions on that gorgeous beach. Fear not, Vale Life magazine has supported a Facebook page designed to reunite people with their lost property. It’s imaginatively called Barry Island Lost & Found.
People post items they have found and visitors can post items they’ve lost- pretty basic really but it seems to work. jewellery, credit cards and pets have already been reunited through the page.
