The three Shepherd Huts will be situated in the woodlands of the hotel grounds and will launch this June. Inspired by nature and designed for luxury country stays, the huts have been handcrafted by Blackdown Shepherd Huts, Somerset.
Two of the huts are aimed at couples, with one hut specifically designed for families. Each hut follows a ‘brace’ design featuring two connecting huts to create spacious accommodation for guests. Each offers a cosy lounge area with log burner, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower as well as a stargazing roof.
The couples’ huts also feature freestanding roll-top baths while the family hut includes a dining table where the family can gather to play games or enjoy a meal. At night, this folds away to create a second double bed.
Making the most of the surroundings, each hut benefits from a hot tub, outdoor furniture, fire pit and private outdoor space.
Available year-round, the huts are equipped with central heating, a log burner and plenty of cosy blankets, making them a warm and welcoming retreat whatever the weather.
Each hut will be named after a bird, with the launch huts called The Pheasant, The Kittiwake and The Hummingbird.
Guests will be able to self-cater in their kitchen or dine in the hotel at Chaloner’s Restaurant or the De Brus Bar & Grill.
Bookable now via the hotel website, the new Shepherd Huts will welcome their first guests in June.
